Our great (BIG) Easter post

Easter (the Easter that includes the Easter Bunny that is) was celebrated in our house on Saturday. The EB came and delivered his baskets of goodies late Friday night for all the little munchkins in our home to find Saturday morning! We save Sunday for Jesus Christ in our home, I think its quite a nice set up actually.

The day started out GREAT considering Carver [and mommy :)] slept in till 8:45! I love mornings like that! But of course we promptly had breakfast. Carver's usual and favorite breakfast is bananas and some dry cereal and of course his sippy cup of milk.

Then, while he as eating, I searched and found his Easter Basket to take a picture of it before it was time for Carvs to completely tear it apart!

Right after breakfast, we helped him find his Easter basket!! He was so excited he couldn't stop talking!

I think his favorite part was his bright orange soccer ball! My son LOVES sports balls, he already has a pretty good arm, and I swear I'm not exaggerating!!! He loves to play catch with anyone who will play with him.

A little later in the day, Our cousins Micah, Joah, and Jude who belong to my Uncle Clark and Aunt Maelynn all came over to color Easter eggs, decorate cookies, have a Easter egg hunt, and then wrap up the night at the Easter pageant.

Carver of course only observed, but he loved it!

I could just kiss that face all day!

Then on to the Easter egg hunt!! This part of the day Carver just wasn't that into. Maybe next year!

Roxie checkin out his loot, She is always right by Carver's side, they kinda like each other and also Carver always feeds her anything he has. It's a food bond.

Oooo! A scooter!! (He played on this scooter for the rest of the Easter egg hunt, silly boy.)

We then went to the Easter Pageant, I totally forgot to take pictures while there, but Carver did really good! It was a perfect Easter Saturday :)

And Easter Sunday will be just as perfect

Because we will be having a ham dinner

It's been awhile, I know.

Life has been crazy around here lately. With school, work, taking care of Carver and everything else it's been hard to have time to sit down and blog. But here I am, sitting down and blogging. So one of the things we have done is, we went to the zoo! Carver was actually really undecided about it. He loved the otters! And I have to admit, so did I! But the one he loved the most, was the goats. After I forced him to touch them that is. 

Don't worry, ill try harder to blog more.

One of THOSE days....

Lets start with the beginning of our day. I had gotten up, fed my skoonkums, and the decided it was time for me to eat breakfast. Carver seeing that I had food (and how dare I have food and not share with HIM) immediately crawled over to the table and tried to climb up my chair. Which he did, at least half way then fell and smacked his face off of the edge of one of the other chairs. And bit his lip. Giving me a slight heart attack. Because you know that one scream your kid has? The one that means there is something very very VERY serious happening to them and they are NOT kidding around? He screamed that scream. I about peed my pants. So I scooped him up, Sat him on the counter and instantly saw the blood gushing from his mouth. If you have ever met my son, you will know this is not the first and wont be the last head wound he has and will have. I started to soothe him and got a rag and tried to stop the bleeding, but by this point he had worked himself up so much, and swallowed so much blood, he vomited all over me. F U N. SO he then got an emergency bath in the sink, which he loved. (no stitches were needed by the way)

Oh and then, just wait, then he decided that he needed to take ANOTHER bath. Really, he did. My foster sister (we cant take pics of them and post them everywhere, sorry!) Was getting her bath and Grandma walked away for TWO seconds and he was in the bathroom, over the edge of the tub, and splashing happily by the time she had turned around. And yes, he really is that fast. The kids got speed my friends, the kids got speed.

And by this point, it was only 10AM. TEN AM. I don't even want to know what else is to come. I'm already counting the minutes to nap time.

But to cheer us all up (and by us I mean ME) Here are some super cute pics of my chipmunk. They make me giggle EVERY stinkin time.

Oh man, no matter what, I will always love my little boy.

And life goes on

I have no pictures to post today, But I do have much to tell. I'm in my third week at EVIT for Cosmetology and I LOVE it! We are learning perms right now, and even though I think there is no use for them, I'm actually really enjoying them! Carver is walking more and more on his own, but he does still crawl about 60% of the time, but he is getting there. I'm getting better and better at keeping a positive attitude towards my future, I'm even kinda just a little bit coming to terms with my "relationship status" but am by no means at all ready for anything more than friendship with anyone, I don't care if its Brad Pitt knockin at my door! I have been more social and am starting to go out with my friend Amie and hanging out with our old group of friends, and that is always something I look forward too. And my job is awesome! It works so perfect for my schedule and still leaves me plenty of time to spend with my pumpkin face, Carver. It's just crazy (in a good way) how all these aspects of my life are just fitting together like a puzzle, and everything is just working out for the best for me and Carver. And I'm going to work my hardest to keep it that way!


So  I hope this satisfies a few of you, don't give up on my blog. I'm just waiting for some ideal pic moments to pop up.

Just a few moments of bliss

I have recently started school, have a part time job, and enrolled in institute. This schedule during the week leaves me with only minimal time with Carver, something neither of us enjoy PERIOD. The only benefit coming from any of this is the fact that I'm securing a financially better future for my son, who, deserves everything I could possible give to him. Emotionally, Mentally, and yes, Financially. We will get through these next two years and then my beautiful baby, we will have more time together, mommy promises.

Whatever happened to privacy?

Well, Tonight I was planning on turning in early because I have work in the morning. Well, Carver, Logan, and Roxie had a different idea. It was called climbing into my bed and giggling like little school girls. (yes, I really did get out of bed just to blog about this. The pictures are THAT cute.)

Logan trying to get kisses from Carver. Carver nicely smacks her in the face. And Roxie is well, sleeping still.

They all are kinda cute!

Now, Roxie woke up on this part. Carver was suddenly very interested with how close she was to him and that doesn't always end good for poor lil Rox.

But this time, it did :)

Carver very gently just stroked her, how cute that my little boy knew how to sweetly pet his pup!! It just shows me how big he is getting!

And then, Logan started playing Carvers favorite game that him and mom started. If you put the bink in your mouth backwards, he thinks its SO funny and will sit there and try to take it out of your mouth with his. I will have to get a video of it because its seriously hilarious.

Of course Logan teased him!

It's nights like these that I truly treasure.
